Company Environmental Strategy
The term “Sustainable Development” is something of an oxymoron. ALL development consumes natural resources to some extent or other. That said, by a matter of degrees some developments are clearly more sustainable than others. Whether you share this overall view or not, here at English Landscapes we strive to be as environmentally responsible as possible in plant choices, management strategies and work practices. With this in mind we propose to purchase, at considerable cost, our first all Electric Vehicle this coming year. Initially this will be exclusively for Island use.

At English Landscapes we never use synthetic fertilizer, pesticides etc. of any type!... for any reason! We prefer to use minimally processed natural products. All other materials used or produced are either fully composted or recycled by other means. We also keep the use of petrol-powered machinery to an absolute minimum preferring the old fashioned methods of hand tools combined with best management practices.
